Does anyone know enough about Scientology to tell me how they go about
"clearing" the negatives from the past?

I can tell you that from learning eye movement desensitization it has been so helpful that I do it a lot for all sorts of unpleasant memories. You just think of the memory and move your eyes back and forth and it helps your brain "process" the situation and clear it from the part of you where it causes hidden pain. I also learned of an old Native American (?) tradition where the person looks to the right the to the upper right, upper left, left, lower left, lower right and right and repeats a few times and it really does relax you.

I hope this does not get deleted because it is considered medical help. It is not really medical, it is folk wisdom.

Anyway, I'm curious what the Scientologists do to get rid of negative memories.

1. I'm pretty sure it's not done with the eyes
I had a friend who was a pretty high-level (former) Scientologist and he was familiar with EMDR but he never indicated that this was what they used. They have these meters (GSR sort of devices) and I think it's more like biofeedback. But I'm not exactly sure.

2. I don't know about scientology
But if you google EMDR you will get information about a
technique used, at least in my case, for a ptsd-like condition.

I only used this with PHDs, one was a phycologist and the other was a psychiatrist.
I wouldn't want to subject my brain to an amateur.
