1. Why does God hate baseball?
After months of drought, the Rangers/Tigers game is rain-delayed.

Good for ranchers and farmers, though.

:hi:

2. Yea!
and this front has just moved a little west enough of I-35 W that
my home is finally getting some steady rain. We've only gotten teased with some
of the last few storms.

And it's a Stationary Front.
I've never been more happy about a stationary front in my life.

8. Always the snark.
If it'll help, perhaps I can start submitting my posts for your approval before I post them?

9. Lovely rain, mostly a soft steady rain. I was in the rain spreading weed-n-feed
to get rid of nasty kudzu like weed that took over front yard. Drought killed off mine and neighbors' Saint Augustine grass. We're switching to hardier Bermuda for now and coming few years of predicted drought, and will be investing in a few rain barrels come early next spring.

13. Still raining in Houston.
A nice all day rain, with a few breaks.

You can hear the ground soaking it in.

We might get 3 inches if it keeps up.

15. "Rain" 1932 Joan Crawford
For residents of the Samoan village of Pago Pago, life is simple until a boat arrives carrying two couples, the Davidsons (who are missionaries), the MacPhails, and a prostitute named Sadie Thompson (Crawford). Davidson is more than just a religious zealot; he's a mad man. When the boat, which was en route to another port, is temporarily stranded on the island due to a possible Cholera outbreak on-board, Sadie spends her time "partying" with the American soldiers stationed on the island. Her behavior, however, is more than the Davidsons can stand and soon Mr. Davidson confronts Sadie about her evil ways and offers salvation. When Sadie rebels and the attempted redemption does not go as planned, Davidson arranges to have her sent back to San Francisco, where she fled some years ago due to mysterious personal issues. Davidson soon becomes unhinged and thus begins a series of surprising events which culminate in disaster.

17. This movie is on Netflix.
I watched part of it all ready.

Early Joan Crawford is fun to watch.

It is on instant view.
