6. yeah, I'm working on it

but lately I've been knocked back so hard as I've watch Kerry's candidacy stagnate and flounder. Repeated broadsides from Rove go unanswered.

Just makes me imagine my 19-month old daughter growing up in Republikan America, and that is one depressing thought. That and the fact that I was recently granted tenure and promotion at this university I work at, only to find that my position will likely be eliminated (after being here 6 years) due to Republican cutbacks. Just no hope or fight left in me.

I have confidence in Kerry's ability to overcome a lot of the crap being thrown at him..but I don't deny anyone their frustration in the matter.

there's some chance of my job staying but it's not looking good. Pubs control both houses of the state legislature and they're taking our state budget crisis out on the university system.
