Saw "Green Hornet" last night. It royally sucked.
Kato was about the only redeeming factor. The cars weren't bad, but the special effects were too cluttered and confusing to be of any use and the main character (whoever played it) was more comedian than super hero. The plot sucked, any effort to DELIVER the plot sucked, and they used the conflict over whats-her-name who played the hottie in "The Mask" as filler for way too much of the movie.

Bummer. I was hoping it would be a decent movie.

1. I liked the movie, but only for Kato (who wasn't on the
screen enough) and the car.

However, the meter goes more to the bad than the good. I like Seth Rogan, and was hoping he would be able to pull this off.

2. Kato WAS the movie. Same with Ahnold in the 4th Batman - WTF using Clooney?
Clooney sucked moose cock in that role. The fucker can't even talk without bobbing his head around - "Soap Opera Syndrome". The plot sucked, they turned Gotham into an amusement park, and there wasn't much to the movie other than Freeze.

4. I don't know - he was still doing it in "Burn After Reading".
The guy just can't act.

5. Too bad
Waste of an intriguing character in the comic book universe, very much like The Shadow movie from a few years ago (The Shadow wasn't as bad as panned, but nobody is clamoring to make another Shadow movie because of it). The Hornet will be back on the shelf for the foreseeable future.

7. I wasn't expecting much when I rented it last weekend.
But it still didn't quite meet expectations. Not a good movie.
