3. Did you ever read Ring of Bright Water as a kid?
It's a memoir of someone who kept an injured otter as a pet. As I recall it was kind of easy because of where they were...sort of Flipper-esque. But I loved that book as a kid and it probably gave me an affection for otters. Not that they need a PR campaign.

2. They're so cute!
I saw 3 otters playing in a remote part of the Verde River once, they didn't know i was there and I got to watch them for awhile until they swam away.
