And the bathroom remodeling adventure continues . . .
No work was done this weekend; the plumber will be back tomorrow and the rest of the work is supposed to be done on Tuesday. But I just got home from work a little while ago, and my downstairs neighbor says that there is a leak causing the plaster in the ceiling in her bathroom to loosen. It looks like it's ready to start falling off. So now I'll have have to plumber check again for leaks, and find a contractor to fix my neighbor's ceiling. I wonder if anyone's ever gone just completely deranged while getting remodeling work done?

1. Oh, Brigid, this is more than anyone should have to endure.
It amazes me that more contractors are not murdered from my experiences. But they aren't.

Your adventure, which I have been following, has convinced me that I will die with this house just like it is.

3. I almost want to laugh at the picture that puts in my mind.
But I won't. I know this is traumatic.

5. we can't even get anyone to come and remodel ours
we've talked to a number of folks and couldn't even get quotes, or commitments to do the work from anyone. It's been very weird.

Hope things go well for you!
