Yay, team trivia win!

We just formed a team with our local league--me, Rhythm, and leftyclimber. We named our team "Library of Babelfish" (and kudos to you if you get all of the homages there). Our very first game was tonight and we won! I'm so excited! It's just a $50 gift card to the pub we played at, but if we keep doing well, we can qualify for the tournament later and win up to $1000.

Anyone else here love trivia?

3. I passed the Jeopardy test, but I couldn't afford the airfare and hotel to get to LA.

I didn't realize until afterward that you had to pay your own way there. :(

4. I used to play trivial pursuit up at the cottage. I have a brother who used to be in tournaments in

Japan. It is fun.

5. I play a couple times a week

Got a regular tema of four. Win about twice a moth and finish second the other times.

Last night our regular host was sick so I went to a new bar and me and another guy beat the rest of the bar... Some teams had six people.So pretty proud.
