CONFESS!!!! What is your musical dirty secret?
I enjoy listening to Polka music. In fact I'm listening to Myron Floren's greatest hits right now.

I also enjoy watching reruns of Lawrence Welk.

6. A few...
I listen to scandinavian death metal at work - people who stop in to see me call it "noise." I'm 44, so probably too old for this music! :)

I secretly like a couple of the teeny-bopper songs that my 8 year old daughter likes. I sing along with her to embarrassing tunes like "Party in the USA" (Miley Cyrus) and anything by Big Time Rush.

Plus, I've been a huge Rush fan since junior high - is that dirty enough? :)

7. I love accordion music.
That includes Polka music, because it often has accordions. Needless to say, I'm also a fan of They Might Be Giants.

15. Normally I listen to music along the lines of Loreena McKennitt...
and then I also do some Norse stuff like Týr ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%BDr_(band) )
Hold the Heathen Hammer High http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu2bgwcv43o

Then one evening I was in the Lounge and someone posted a link to some Vocaloid stuff from Japan

and now I have links to Hatsune Miku in my favorites. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTXO7KGHtjI&feature=related )

17. I like Sheryl Crow
I also like the Guns and Roses song "Sweet Child of Mine" :hide:

I've been lambasted by my alt/hipster pals for both. But I always try to keep an open mind. :D

And an interesting side note- the drum beats for many punk and thrash songs are very similar to those of polka and disco, so my drum teacher has said. Just sayin. ;)

25. I like almost anything, but for a middle aged woman on a ranch
my guilty secret is probably electronica (or even disco as mentioned above)

I'm not really knowledgeable about it, but there are a couple of Friday night shows on the community station out of Tucson and I never change the channel when they are on. The whole family makes fun of me.
