Just went on Best Buy site
I've just bought for pickup one of those satelite boom box units for my XM receiver. I can't lug the whole thing into work and steaming audio sucks on my current work system.

3. I pay 9.99 for the monthly service
Edited on Thu Apr-01-04 01:23 PM by demnan
I also paid about $170 to buy the hardware (receiver and home kit hookup). The piece I bought today is just another hookup a portable boombox for the receiver so I can take my Franken anywhere. You can also buy a hookup for the car. You can use one receiver ($99) for all three but the hookups are separate.

I was actually quite happy with the service before the Air America thing. They have some really great radio stations that I listen to all the time for music at home. Every kind of music is represented, plus they have BBC.

Now with Air America it's a must!

on edit a link to xm:

last night that a rental car company is stocking all rentals with XM. I can't remember which one....sorry. But, the concept is good for Liberal Radio!
