what are your favorite records/albums/cds you always neglect or forget about??
we all have our favorites, our standbys, but what about the ones we forget about? the ones that get shuffled away?

toadies 'rubberneck' is mine. incredible album. i always know this, i just don't listen to it for long stretches of time and, when i do, i'm blown away by it. i've had the same copy since mid-95, got it for my 14th birthday...another life, that was...

one of my five favorite songs of all time comes from this album

1. One of my favorites in this area is Katatonia's Viva Emptiness.
Fucking awesome album, yet I always forget about it until I listen to it the whole way through.

2. Patti Smith's Easter, for one
It's on vinyl (got it when it came out) and we don't have a working turntable- haven't for years...
