"Mama, what's written on the chalkboard in your head?"
Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 09:49 PM by rbnyc
That's what my son asked me while I was putting him to bed tonight. Then he said, "The first thing written on my chalkboard is 'William is my friend.' The second thing is 'I love 100-pin bowling.'"

"I bet you can guess the first thing written on my chalkboard," I said.

He said,"I know. 'I love Garrison.'"

I'm glad he knows.

What's written on the chalkboard in your head?

Edit: typo

1. I just love this. What a thoughtful and creative child you have..
The first thing written on the chalkboard in my head is "I am grateful"

Thank you for this

:hi:

4. That's awesome.
An attitude of gratitude is not just a platitude.

7. aw- so cute! Nice snowman, too. My son is too old for
building snowmen at this point. I kind of miss doing stuff like that.

10. How precious! I always tell my guys, "Guess what?" and then they roll their eyes. "We know. We know
You love us." LOL

It's good that they know that. :)

11. You're lucky...
When I say "Guess what?" to MY kids, they say:

"CHICKEN BUTT"

14. Oh, that happens as well and is followed up with, "Know why? Chicken thigh" or
"Guess who? Chicken poo." :eyes:

12. That's so cute. And it's kind of a throwback -- "chalkboard"
My kids' classrooms have whiteboards, not chalkboards. It seems like chalkboards are going the way of rotary phones.
