I've learned the names of many, due to mapping pipelines in Texas, but most of those are in East Texas, a place that shouldn't be part of the continental United States to begin with :P

I'm sure I forgot something.

On Edit:

I KNEW I'd forgotten something: counties in DE, NJ, and CT and whatever the fuck they have in the Toronto and Montreal areas.

23. I have visited every single blessed one of California's 58 counties
These are the counties that I have seen less than a hundred bird species in. The numbers are how many species I have seen. The other 37 counties I have 100+ for.

Stanislaus 20
Contra Costa 23
Calaveras 31
Amador 32
San Francisco 42
Alpine 43
Inyo 46
Orange 48
San Benito 49
El Dorado 49
Solano 54
Kings 56
Merced 56
Tuolumne 61
Lake 63
Mariposa 64
Placer 64
San Joaquin 71
Napa 77
Nevada 93
Sutter 95

It's getting there, slowly but surely. The mountain counties from Nevada to Mariposa are the last major holdout. Everything else is falling into place.
