My auntie Terese died this morning.

She has been in hospital for a couple of days. Her living will specified no measures to prolong her life,just her comfort.


I drove her back home to her brother Edgar's funeral less than a month ago. She was the last of my mom's siblings.

all died in recent years, and I think it made my parents quite conscious of their own mortality
