5. The Byrds' version next to the Dylan original is like a lighthouse next to a blue supergiant star.
The original has, what? Ten verses? The Byrds only used two. I know they had to conform to the pop radio time constraints of the day, but they could at least have recorded a full-length track for the album...

Having said that, their attempt to turn folk into psychedelia worked pretty well...

Hi,
I have a Dylan version of the song from Brixton Blues bootleg that transformed the song for me. I never had actually "heard" the lyrics until I heard that version.
