Just Got A Big TV - What Movie To Watch First

My wife and I finally broke down and got a huge-ass TV (because I think my son broke our ten year old tv during a drinking incident when we were out of town).

So, she's off to get a Blu-Ray player and asked me, "So, what is the first movie we are going to watch?"

I suggested Sound of Music.

What should we watch?

5. Don't laugh but I recommend the movie 2012.
The movie is a disaster, just awful but the visuals were extremely detailed and very well done. I think they had Blu-Ray in mind when they made this movie.

Anyhow it's a good movie to show you what the new technology you just purchased can do.

7. The Blu-ray of "Baraka."
It's the best-looking Blu-ray ever, IMO. Here's some screenshots:

10. It's not political at all.

It's a silent documentary (with ambient music) of places all around the world.

Though if that's still not your taste, the Blu-Ray of "Blade Runner" is amazing.
