My Hulu recommendation for today
Doc Martin:

http://www.hulu.com/doc-martin

Description for the site;

The series follows Doc Martin as he turns his back on life as a celebrated London surgeon and moves to a sleepy Cornish village to become the local doctor. Despite his surgical brilliance, Doc Martin lacks any interpersonal skills and his bedside manner soon starts to upset his new patients.

Why I like it:

It's quirky, funny, complicated and touching. Martin Clunes is outstanding as the lead and manages to make an unappealing character appealing. Caroline Catz portrays his romantic foil with warmth, strength and delightful quirkiness. The supporting cast is a wonderful array of character actors who never cease to antagonize the staid disposition of their "new' village G.P.

While the Hulu site does not yet carry series four, they host all episodes for series 1-3.

:hi:

1. I've seen Doc Martin, but I haven't watched Hulu much since I got Netflix streaming.
Season 1 of Doc Martin is available on Netflix streaming though.

3. Since I get my regular tv for free over the air I can justify the Netflix expense.
At one dvd out at a time I can get 3 a week, at least until they shut down Saturday mail delivery.

4. Braodband is my only entertainment expense.
I work online so I have to be connected 24/7. I gave up the satellite teevee and the Netflix. If it doesn't stream for free, I don't watch.

6. "Kingdom" is now playing on my PBS station although I saw the first episode on Hulu.
Then I forgot what the name was when I wanted to watch the second episode.
