4. I have only ever had home brewed
it was pretty good, but I have always wanted to try a recipe I have for a ginger, carbonated version. Sounds so good.

5. You can get carbonation in a homebrew, if the brewer knows his/her stuff.
I had a home brewed carbonated saffron mead a couple months ago. Spiffing stuff.

7. And bottling sugar.
See, you can lose a lot of carbonation transferring the mead or beer from fermenter to bottle. So, a little extra sugar boost at bottling will activate the yeast again just before you cap them. This will deliver a nice, satisfying fizz.
