Zimmerman's idea becomes new Aflac ad campaign

The duck that has helped make American Family Life Assurance Co. a household word in the minds of consumers is entering a new marketing phase based on a campaign that got its start in Tallahassee with The Zimmerman Agency.
On Times Square billboards, national Web sites, in print and on television, “You Don’t Know Quack” is the phrase around which Columbus, Ga.-based Aflac is charting its next step.
“Aflac is really looking to build on the success that it has already developed, which is the beauty of this,” said Curtis Zimmerman, whose Tallahassee firm has worked with the insurance company since 2001.
