Cleveland Classic Rock station can't play Pink Floyd's "Money
because of the word "bullshit". Which is bullshit. There is an action on their homepage to call your Congressmen. Read more

1. Our classic rock stations play that tune
ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!! And the word "bullshit" is edited out. Quite frankly, you should consider it a blessing that they won't play that overplayed song anymore. But you are right, they shouldn't refuse that song because of one word.

2. I agree dammit! Play something off "Piper at the Gates of Dawn"!
If I'm listening to radio as I drive to work/school, I want to feel like I'm on acid whilst sitting in traffic. No more of this classic rock shit! I wanna space out.

Does anyone remember
Right after 9/11 there was a list of songs that were "voluntarily banned" by different radio stations out of "respect" for the deceased.

Strange that it is okay to write and play country songs that confuse Terrorism with Iraq...but don't be a country singer crisizing the bush administration or you're gonna have to find a new genre.

A Ronnie James Dio tune, "Holy Diver" comes to mind. I live near a local P.D. for a local radio station and he actually told me that "Holy Diver" was taboo after 9/11, as per the HQ's in Atlanta. A Cumulus station btw. They aren't as big as Clear Channel, but they are just as wrong wing. Edited-I gotta learn to type

10. Piper at the Gates of Dawn sounds like my kind of music
Please forgive my ignorance, but who does it? I am on a music buying binge. Just picked up two of Apocalyptica's CDs...

13. The gretest song title ever
"Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Togerther in a Cave and Grooving with a pict"

Trippy tune too, although Ummagumma is not a stellar Floyd performance.

3. When that song was out, our stations deleted "bullshit"
from it. Of course, we all knew what the missing word was. I believe that in later years, the word was left in. Guess this country is continuing to go backwards in many areas.

4. WTF??????
This is my local station I listen to a lot, and they've always been able to play that song in its entirety! So it has the word "BULLSHIT" in it, WHO FUCKING CARES?

I've let my son listen to it since he was six years old; he's now almost thirteen and I don't see where his mind has been destroyed by listening to it! Of course, he could get blown away if sent to Iraq to fight for the Bushista's oil regime, but I guess it's more obscene and "indecent" to play a song with the word BULLSHIT in it! WHAT A CROCK OF PURE, UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT!

6. I always, in the '70s/'80s, defined a "hip" FM station...
...based on whether or not they'd bleep "bullshit" in Floyd's "Money." As well as "funky shit" in Steve Miller's "Jet Airliner," and Jefferson Airplane's "Up against the wall, motherfucker."

A quarter of a century later, we're still dealing with this nonsense, while 13-year-olds are blowing each other in classrooms when the teacher steps out. Get fucking real, you fucking tools! You haven't got a fucking clue!
