How would like a pair of HD ... wait for it ... SUNGLASSES!?
Edited on Tue Dec-22-09 09:30 PM by charlie and algernon
just saw the greatest infomercial that would be a brilliant parody if it were actually a parody. I can't even bring myself to feel sorry for anyone stupid enough to buy HIGH DEFINITION sunglasses. :wtf:

And how much are these revolutionary pieces of futuristic technology? They are a WHOPPING.....

TEN DOLLARS!

But if you call right now, you'll get TWO super high tech, high def sunglasses for the ultra low low price of 10 dollars!! :wow:

infomercial scam artists aren't even trying anymore, lol

4. "Experience the clarity you've been missing!"
So they're basically saying that your eyesight sucks and that only they can cure it. Actually, HOLY SHIT, they need to make HD contact lenses, they could cure blindness!

7. It's just the tint color of the lenses
Yellow cuts the glare but keeps the contrast better.
My eye surgeon says they are better overall for your eyes.
For years they've been known as "shooters glasses"

11. Is that why I prefer brown sunglasses to black?
Hrm. Interesting. :)

5. I have a pair of HD sunglasses
I guess they're actually called "prescription" sunglasses. Anyway, when I put them on, reality pops. I can see things like stop signs, pedestrians, even bicyclists. Almost too much input. But then I can take them off and drive without all that bother.

:hi:

8. Reality has such great graphics...
...it would be a shame to experience it through ordinary shades.

10. The night vision ones really help with nighttime glare.
And they're good on foggy days.
Then again, I'm getting old, and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.
$10 is relatively cheap... you pay that much for a pair of regular sunglasses at Wal-Mart.
