need cookie dough help...
It's oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. It's too thick. Is a little bit of water or milk okay?

2. You could also add a dollop of applesauce -- adds moisture & flavor.

4. I would add a beaten egg
but I'm not an expert on it. Have you baked a test cookie yet?

5. Is it perhaps too thick because it's too cold?
If so, just leave it at room temperature until it loosens up.

If it's because there's too much flour and/or oatmeal in it, you could try adding a bit more softened butter to it.

8. Yep, more butter
They'll be crisper than if you add milk. You'll want to add a little more sugar, too.

10. Probably too late by this time but
I would second the addition of applesauce or even a smidgen of canola oil. :hi:
