15. We can't get an answer on why they won't allow the import of that one blue cheese
Havocdad has been eating it for DECADES and introduced me to it years ago. It is wonderful stuff. Maybe Wisconsin has a lot of pull with DHS?

I could easily see the latter
and it was probably a rule invented during the Bush administration. Alternately, it could be a particular type of mold that can be used in bio-warfare, like the seed to growing the nasty stuff. That alone could explain why they won't say why it can't be imported. Of course, if that's the case, just forbidding its importation is an admission that it could be used for nefarious purposes ;)

13. I had that problem with blue cheese tonight
The outside had a blue and fuzzy coating. Highly suspicious, so I cut it all off. Underneath the cheese was fine. I ate it two hours ago and I feel fine.

Your mileage may vary. Good luck.
