That's her favorite topping - melted on hot pie. Helluvagood has an "extra sharp special reserve" that is incredible. It isn't like most extra sharp cheddars - it is slightly creamy. The flavor is perfect.

Hmm... Cheese makes things better. cheese and bacon are an ideal combo. Bacon makes things better. Now I am wondering if bacon makes apple pie better the way cheese does.

The warm/hot slightly sticky apples comingling with the cold ice cream to create an oozy mouthful is just.... *sigh*

And I prefer sugar/butter crumb topping on my pie, not crust.

I tried it, but didn't care for it. Of course, I don't like cheese on my burgers, either. I guess there are certain things I prefer unadulterated.
