1. You sure have lots of eggs...
Other than that, your refrigerator reminds me of mine--more condiments than anything else.

10. Joke about old stuff in the fridge.
Edited on Wed Nov-11-09 01:17 PM by edbermac
Some comic whose name I can't recall on the Carson show years ago:

Said he knew he had to clean out his refrigerator because he saw a carton of milk with
a picture of the Lindbergh baby on it.

God I loved that comic. Got Evan dorkin to draw them on an empty milk carton and a plastic cheese wedge.

39. That's cool!
I've never met him before, though I'm told he's almost as crazy as his characters, at least at cons ;)

Did you ever read his other comic, the one about space pirates and ska? :)
(looked it up - "Pirate Corp$ / Hectic Planet")

40. I have an original page from Pirate Corp$
Several years ago at the Small Press Expo he went on a rant about the comic industry. There was a film crew interviewing other artists that stopped and filmed him. The entire hall went quiet until he was done.
He wrote a lot for Space Ghost coast to coast and some other shows. Talented guy

I had forgotten about that. That would have fun seeing him talk :)

We need another Comic Book Confidential documentary and include Evan this time.

Are your eyes open?

Just because you opened the fridge doesn't mean that you are looking in that direction.

17. is that an open jar of moonshine in the door?
Mine, you'd see some soy milk, some fresh carrots, onion, peppers or various types, zucchini, celery, potatoes, 4 eggs, maybe some eggplant (no, I ate that last night), lettuce, cheese, tortillas, salsa, various kinds of hot sauce, 1 lime, 1 lemon, leftover eggplant parmesan, fresh cilantro, butter, ketchup, brown mustard, soy sauce, tempeh, a beer (it sure is lonely in there - maybe I should put it out of its misery now), ginger, garlic, a jug of iced coffee, cran-peach juice, some half and half, and a human head.

no wait, that last thing is in the freezer. That's all from memory - is it sad that I typically know exactly what's in there? I cook a lot and make small grocery trips to cut back on waste.

The other half has my roommate's stuff in it, but I won't list that.

31. Well, I was looking for Real Ale when I went to Kroger's earlier
as I had my last bottle of Rio Blanco Pale Ale last night and I hadn't tried the Black Lager yet ;)

It's too bad the TABC won't allow more microbreweries to open. I think I read in The Houston Press that there are only six in the entire state while other states, like Michigan, has over seventy.

23. wow. people here have full fridges.
mine is never full. Closest it ever got was when we overbought for the housewarming.

Right now, there's...

Rice milk, a 6-pk of Dr. Pepper, a few condiments, my prescription fish oil, a couple bottles (one half-full) of Powerade Zero Calorie, a bottle of low-sodium V8, a sandwich bag full of sauerkraut, and some cheap hot dogs.

Our fridge is way bigger than we need.

But, we got it cheap. $150 used. Plus $75 delivery of that that the $150 used gas range.
