Local attorney...decent guy...negotiated a price $1000 higher than he wanted to pay. The best part is that it is one more attorney Website that will go into my portfolio, making my job of selling Websites to attorneys even easier (although this one was NOT that easy...he was the one who said "yes" in a marathon session of 150 cold calls).

And no, I don't "exclusively" specialize in attorney sites...they are a subset of what I do...but a dentist or attorney averages $2500-$3500 per site (this one wanted to pay $1500, but I showed him what he'd be getting from me in return and he agreed to $2500), so they are an ongoing source of interest to me. Also, he is a patent attorney...that means that each of the four attorneys I've worked with all have a different area of practice, allowing me to market to a broader audience.

SO...if you are willing to work hard enough to find it, the work IS out there. The people with money to spend ARE out there. I don't say this as a guy with money falling out of his ass...if he hadn't said "yes" today, I would have been in big, BIG trouble financially. Thank God for giving me the passion and persistence to develop my selling skills.

And to celebrate, please allow me to buy all of you a drink.

10. 150 cold calls, got to give you credit for that. Hey you may have

called me, I do remember amongst the hundreds of recorded scam messages, someone saying, I can make a website.
