How come I've never heard of that song "The Book of Love" before?

I was searching online for readings for my upcoming wedding and someone posted the lyrics. They really touched me so I searched further to find out about the song.

I guess this song has been used in a billion movies and tv shows. Written by Stephin Merritt.

I plan to surprise my groom and sing it at my ceremony next week. :loveya: I'm a big crier, so this won't be easy.
