Shouldn't the late night drunken meal have it's own name?

I mean, "snack" doesn't cut it, and "second dinner" is not so accurate. "Pre-breakfast" perhaps?

Also, I can't decide if I'm a better cook when it's late or perhaps I am an easier audience.

Anyway, I'd love to hear suggestions for late night meal names. Drunch?

1. Taco Bell calls the drunken 3am meal "Fourth Meal"

Taco Bell tastes like fine cuisine when you got a bad case of the beer munchies. When I was a drinker I downed many 6 packs of Taco Bell tacos after 15 beer binges. But I probably would have eaten cardboard if they put some hot sauce on it.

15. heh, true. Although I'd like to think my late night drunken culinary escapades

I mean my Dreckfast skills have either improved or I am just easier to please. My favorite is to fry up an egg and cheese sandwich or similar. Last night was sauteed mushrooms, onions, and peppers with fresh oregano and smoked-apple cheddar cheese served on a fresh croissant, and it was damn yummy and every bit worth the wait to get home.

Maybe I should start a TV show called The Drunken Chef or something, although it's probably been done*. It could air after my other show featuring cheap-ass and/or found object DIY home and craft projects that I want to call Martha Skewered.

12. MID RATS

Thats a "meal" onboard a Navy ship during a not regular time to eat, usually after midnight. Usually four meals a day onboard, breakfast, lunch, dinner and midrats (midnight rations.) No alcohol involved though.

13. Night Lunch.

It's actually an expression that was used in the Merchant Marine for a lunch type meal available late at night, due to the watches (shifts) that Merchant Mariners pull.

although there used to be a great deli in downtown springfield mass that was open til 2am and made the bestest roast beef sammich in the world.
