Poll question: You MUST choose between these two bands part whatever

Entertaining if derivative Britpop vs. pretentious pseudojazz noodling. Discuss.

4. Sha Na Na
The best thing either of those bands did was the guitar solo from 'Reeling in the Years' which was played by the guy from Sha Na Na.

5. That is a great crazyass guitar solo by Elliott Randall
I always like to point out to people that Sh Na Na were a...gasp!...college rock band.
Those guys met in college and many went on to pursue academic careers after the band's time in the sun.

6. Smartest MFers in rock history.
By a mile. It doesn't hurt that there was 12 of 'em at one time.

10. I swear that Johnny Thunders sold his sweet leather jacket with
the skull and crossbones on it to Bowser. Bowser is freaking cool IMO.

12. And that was about when Bowser started wearing the jacket.
The first time I saw Bowser with it was '77.

14. Steely Dan.
It bothers me that this isn't the way I would have come down on this issue ten years ago. My hatred for Steely Dan has ebbed away, and I find them almost palatable (maybe it's the way their many numerous sly drug references are becoming apparent to me). I worry that I am becoming Old.
