1. Not surprising.
Your state is one of the weirdest in the country! Move up here, where we have a hot chick as our Governor!

3. Hot governor chick
Even Republicans, I think, LIKE Jennifer Granholm.
She's smart as hell, a natural diplomat, talented, poised, accomplished and very, very good looking in a cool blonde sort of way. It's hard not to have a teeny crush on her.
Michigan also has two of the very best US Senators in Levin and Stabenow. We're lucky up here.
John
Who also has a Dem US Congressman (Kildee) and a Dem state representative.

8. Nothing wrong with that. The Irish would understand.
I am married to a, from the old sod, Irishman. He is always amused that St. Patrick's Day is such a big booze up for Americans. In Ireland, when he grew up, it was a day to go to church and then have a family dinner like we do Thanksgiving with a party atmosphere, some drinking, music and dancing.

Hell, we still have entire counties down here that are completely dry. They've never even heard of a German beer hall.

And I thought Moron-Americans only got non-white ethnicities confused (example: confusing Arab Muslims and Hindu Indians).
