1. unrelated, but i've been writing in a journal since high school
(i.e. a real one in a notebook)...hasn't gone away in my case, either...not quite sure how to quit it, lol

8. Yeah, I think that would be enough for me. Sometimes, on my journal
here, I go back through and look at stuff I posted a long time ago. I have a lot of pictures in mine and those are fun to look at.

3. easy peasy....
the journal feature is very easy to use and maintain. If you want to disable it, you can. The icon remains, but when you click it on it you go to page telling you that the journal is disabled/tuned off. Error reading.
