1. I'll go with natural
looks kind of like plaster or paint from two flat surfaces separating (does that make sense?) also it makes me kind of dizzy.

Your subject line is incorrectly stated, although you get it right in the post under the pic.

And my guess is that this is a naturally-occuring fractal.
