Java ? Computer question.......
I was told at a web site that I would need Java in order to run their stuff. Is Java something that can be downloaded free somewhere, or is it something I have to buy and install?

3. Free download from Sun
Not everything that runs on Microsoft's "Java Virtual Machine" (JVM)will run on Sun's ... Microsoft cheats and extends the standard. (There was a law suit over that.) Most sites embed the applet tag in a manner which will cause Internet Exploder or Netscape to automatically download the correct Sun JVM. I'm a Java developer so please feel free to IM me if you are having difficulties. a3kelvin on AOL.
