The context is that Brett asks Jerome to be his wing man on a date with the proviso that Jerome cannot hit on his date. They get into a discussion. Brett says that Jerome always does this, and it's Jerome's reputation.

I found it extremely funny, and I was laughing for about 30 seconds.
