10. I also like Baby One More Time...and Oops I Did It Again

Simple pop classics that played over and over again in my mind and I hummed along happily.

I began disliking Britney when her wardrobe began disappearing, her handlers began turning her act into a quasi-sex show, and Britney herself tried to tell the public that she was something that she was not, in order to keep her teeny-bop audience. She was selling sex but portraying herself as a virginal sort. That duplicity angered me for some reason.

In retrospect, I think Britney's talent is vast but not without limits. She's still chugging along on the fumes of that fame. I want for her to succeed, and now that she's an adult, she can choose whatever vessel she wants to find that success. Her latest tunes are interesting, but tossaways as well.

Sorry, nothing against her personally, but but I just don't find anything enjoyable about her singing. In fact, after seeing the videos, I wonder why they bother having an audio component at all.
