What is it about thin eyebrows?

I see Hispanic women with thin angled eyebrows that look very strange.
And some of them wear thin black eyeliner which looks strange too.

Sometimes it looks creepy.

What is up with that???

10. I've heard that some people who shave off their eyebrows don't

grow them back--that's why they draw the weird line. I shave my eyebrows down to "not a werewolf" size every now and again, but my natural eyebrow shape is "Cavegirl discovers fire, surprises self, news at 11". If I drew my eyebrows on, they'd look kind of angry cartoon-character, too. Luckily, mine grow like kudzu.

They never grew back properly. I can't use eyebrow pencil without looking like I am about ninety. Not everyone has thin eyebrows on purpose.
