The strings kids got to play band instruments, and the band kids played string, piano kids (well I'm confusing my self) and they put on a concert after three days with the new instrument.\

REALLY IMPRESSIVE! These were 4-8th graders mostly. We were totally amazed.

Some of the little girls (from pre-school through 6th grade) around here are freakishly aggressive.
It's really bizarre to hear them talk about "getting" boyfriends and chasing after them. I distinctly remember wanting nothing to do with boys for most of those years...save an occasional crush here and there, usually directed at someone who was a movie star or somesuch.

I think we were still telling bad sex jokes (those really corny ones) at that age. I really don't know what the hurry is -seems like some preteen/teen girls are encouraged to think there's a rush.
