4. "The Steak Joint" in Oklahoma City...
Difficult to get reservations, but they have the best escargot I have ever had (served on a tray with toast points). Just heavenly.

7. I often wonder how hungry the first Gaul had to be that ate a snail.
Any of you snail grazers are welcome to come and pick the disgusting creatures out of my yard anytimes y'all like. I'm sure when you see them in their natural habitat, they won't seem as tasty.

Havcodad loves triple cream blue and has a favorite from France which we can not longer get here in the US becaus of... The Patriot Act! ARRGG

There is a little shop in Vancover BC that used to be able to ship it to us but no more. I was thinking about seeing in HeyHey wanted to get into the cheese smuggling business....

Haven't had snails in eons. Would've been damned fine with the champaign tonight...
