I'd have to go against banning them. I know the sound is annoying outside my window when I'm trying to sleep, but I see it as just some guys doing their jobs and I'm not gonne get all butthurt about that. And if I am still in bed at that time, and they are out there blowing leaves, I count it as a blessing.

31. My last dwelling was a warehouse community.

The property manager hired people to maintain the interior common spaces who used leaf-blowers in-doors to clean the debris out of the hallways. The owners were too cheap to put seals on our doors, so once a week we would get a piquant blend of carbon monoxide fumes and fine dust blown under our doors. This treat was compounded by the loud feedback of a running combustion motor bouncing off of concrete and brick.

I have strong feelings about leaf-blowers.
