Olivia Wilde tops Maxim's "Hot 100" list for 2009? Who???

While I think she's cute & all, I had to google her to even find out who she was.

But, she tops Maxim's Hot 100 most beautiful women for 2009. Not my cup of tea, though.

to avoid recycling the same list over and over.

However, I think hot is more likely to translate into "whose agent is most able to get a magazine editor a better job"...

I know that's usually a euphemism for "a killer body," but I mean it as written. On House they routinely show close-ups of her face, and her eyes are very nice.

40. I really don't get when people say that. You know she may be

naturally thin. I have friends who are stick thin and can't keep on weight. I know many actresses and models are pin thin because they diet and exercise crazy, but some are very naturally thin.

And I also get it if you prefer more curves, but we are all built differently. It goes both ways.

She is thin, I do admit that. But I have no way of knowing if that is how she is built naturally or not. I would no more tell someone who appears obese to stop eating.


I really don't mean to jump on you. I love you to pieces. But I see this a lot here, and I just don't get it. Why is it fair to tell a thin person to eat and not tell an overweight person to stop eating? We really never know why someone is the size they are.

Sorry if you feel like I am being harsh with you. I am not. I am just addressing this in general because I see it so much.
