Listening to Bowie sing "Sister Midnight"
His version off the 1976 tour is amazing. Totally different than Iggy's version. Totally different than Bowie's "Red Money".

Not better, not worse, but F-U-N-K-Y!

Love it!

1. I'm currently reading a book about Bowie & Iggy's Berlin days
So I am getting a kick out of this thread.

2. Which one? "Bowie in Berlin"?
Loved that book! Really gives you insight into that strange, crazy part of both of their career.

If you want to waste bandwidth and a couple of hours, check out this site: hxxp://davidbowiealivereview.blogspot.com/ (replace the xx's with you know what) and you can pretty much download any of his shows from that era :)

4. They were, and you can definitely tell which ones Bowie had an "off" night
Funny, the show "David Live" was recorded was an off night

There are some shows later on on the same tour that were just amazing - Bowie goes all out funk and soul - even covering the classic "Footstompin'"
