ugh, one of my brother's friends added me on facebook

and decided to send me messages through the facebook chat. this dude is annoying as HELL.

he seems to pride himself on his vocabulary, but his use of words just is awkward and off most of the time.. and he's just annoying as hell. i logged off facebook just to get away from him. now i know that in the future if one of my big brother's friends adds me on facebook i should ignore the request. :banghead:

Funny, I was just discussing this with my son last night. He said he liked Facebook because he's gotten back in touch with a lot of high school friends he hasn't otherwise heard from in years. But there is one HS classmate who is his "friend" who keeps leaving all kinds of crazy rants and obviously has mental problems. He said he really didn't want to hurt her feelings but he couldn't take it any longer so he pulled the plug.

i'm sure you're getting tons for advice on NYNY... so here's mine: law and order is a wonderful show to watch... and use as a plan to find delis and restaurants to hit.

it worked for me and my dad... YMMV.

true story... though my memories probably aren't as good as my dad's since i was really tired at the time

one of the delis we stopped in he recalled from an episode from L&O and my dad and i chatted with the owner about jerry orbach and benjamin bratt. the owner thought jerry was god's gift, which he is of course, i cannot imagine anyone else as lennie briscoe. and benjamin bratt was pretty quiet, though friendly. i guess it must have been his first season as rey curtis...

i told the owner i'd camp out there in case they'd come back... he laughed and said "you and me both."

shame jerry orbach died so young. lennie was a classic character for the ages.

I've got a friend IRL who's a dead ringer for Dana Carvey's Church Lady - 'God is Good' t-shirt and 'Jesus is my Higher Power' bumperstickers and all.

She's been sending me pictures of half-naked black men. Really, really sexy black men. Mind you, I'm not complaining! It's just that Facebook has revealed a side of her I never suspected.

That said, I've had to unfriend a few friends of friends. When one woman told me she thought I was wrong to make fun of Bill O'Reilly that was it. I have enough idiots to deal with IRL. I don't need them cluttering up Facebook.
