5. Great
I'm finished with North America, I think. Screw that place until there's a new revolution in which people say "no" to corporate power and start burning shit.
All hail Hu Jin Tao!

4. It is the best beat to walk to.
Loaded my ipod with it to get through the every day exercise and got two medals in 5k's since I've been walking to it.

Not the best for running. I prefer Mozart for that.

10. Define "rap".
The Sugar Hill Gang, Run-DMC, some folks from
Philly whose homemade tapes circulated around my CellBlock
back in '85...and too many others to name...
they had some serious GENIUS going on. Great stuff they did,
and that made it a great time to be alive,
even if "being alive" meant you were living next door to me
on my cellblock.

All these late-coming pathetic little punk-ass SAMPLING wannabe's
groomed by the "Major Label" PIMPS issuing an "album" a month
and running amok popping caps into each other's general direction...
That' ain't RAP, it's something so sad that HISTORY will be tasked
with naming it.

Until HISTORY invents a term, I'll call it PATHETIC SHIT.

It ain't RAP, it's the Jerry Springer Show with a BeatBox.
Crackbaby, PLEASE!

15. I liked Queen Latifah and Public Enemy, at the time...
Of course, Flava Flav now peddles Dr Pepper and the Queen is being sued by any number of people, alleging the Queen cheated them out of money.

Therefore I have no qualms in getting involved in peddling products and cheating people either.

Well, at least for peddling... cheating is still a bad thing, probably.

18. I like old school rap and reggae-sounding rap
the newer stuff (I liked the Diggable Plantets and the Roots)? Not so much, although I am impressed by the internal rhyming.

19. I actually like Jay-Z a lot.
I'll never forget listening to The Black Album while flying into Las Vegas at night.

Despite falling into the occassional gangsta rap stereotypes, he's actually a very talented lyricist. "99 Problems" is a smart, humorous yet poignant song on racial profiling.
