Do you know someone who never seems to catch a break?
I have a friend like that. My old dance instructor. I just got off the phone with him for the first time in a couple of weeks. He is 65 still running a landscape company. Has bad discs in his neck. Still physically damaged from two major back surgeries and needs a third. The only people he finds with the skills to help him with his company are arrogant and insuborndinate idiots who try to take advantage of him. His wife who dearly loves him is so stressed out that they fight about silly things like feeding the dog. He has to go to a PAIN MANAGEMENT psychiatrist because of how much pain and meds he deals with.
Its so sad because I hardly recognize him anymore..He's becoming a shell of his old self..I got my pevvish sense of humor from him..he taught me how to enjoy life and to be outgoing and now..well life seems to have totally broken his spirit. I don't even know what to say anymore...I wish I knew what to do to help...:(

2. Before I hung around with him
I would have been WAAAAAY too embarrassed to say half the shit I say here...When we taught dance class together he would comment on how we practiced it in the hotel room the night before..and I would get soooo embarrassed. Maybe I should say, I learned how to be a flirt from hanging around from him..:)
