Am I being too sensitive about this or do other people get
annoyed when they are standing in a store aisle looking at something, and people walk right in front of them without saying excuse me?

2. I always say excuse me
and if your right in the middle of the aisle I won't even pass you, I'll just make pretend I'm looking at something on the shelf until you leave..... :)

3. i was at Target and people kept leaving their carts in the middle of the aisle
while they went to another aisle.

they could've at least moved them to the side, but just splayed in the middle made it hard to walk or move a cart around them.

4. Depends on how close to the shelf one is
I sometimes stand against one shelf so that I can actually see in wide-angle the shelf across from me, and also so I can actually read the prices (and material) on the bottom shelves without bending down.

In that case, I don't mind if people walk in front of me - they have no other option. I don't care if they say excuse me, either. In fact, I try to make it clear that they can, in fact, go in front of me.

If I'm in the middle of the aisle or closer, though, and someone walks in front of me - that's rude.

7. I always bring a tape measure for just that reason.
That way I can locate the exact center of the aisle and mark it with duct tape.

9. And loudly, and spittly, proclaim "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further:
and here shall thy proud waves be stayed!" as you assail the customers with boards covered in burning pitch and nails.

5. I feel the same way
It's inconsiderate and rude, and unless one is as ignorant of this as they are, how could it not be annoying?

6. What pisses me off is...
when someone is standing in the middle of the aisle, and they see you coming, but they don't move.

24. Yeah, with a cart in the middle of the aisle. I give them 3 chances.
First, I say "excuse me" quite loudly. When they still ignore me, I shout it even louder. The third time, I push their cart over to the side (and out of my way), while still smiling and saying "excuse me." Some of them even look embarrassed when I do that; others don't, but fortunately I haven't gotten in a fight yet.

18. No, what annoys me is someone
who stands in the aisle right up at the item I want and takes 45 minutes to decide whether to buy Green Giant or Van Camps! I can't walk in front of them; they are too close to the shelf. And I can't get the item I want because they are effectively blocking off three feet of shelf space! And they don't seem to be aware that there is anyone else in the store.

19. That doesn't bother me much.
What annoys the HELL out of me are the 'BEST friends' who haven't seen each other in years and stop at the narrowest spot in the store and remain there catching up on what has happened to them for the last ten years since they encountered each other last.

Except for Fleet Farm on a Sunday morning after church. I KNOW it's going to happen there, so I'm expecting it. Which is why I do not go to Fleet Farm on Sundays until at least 2 pm. Unless the Packers are playing. Then, it's not so crowded (assuming the Packers have a noon kickoff).

back against the shelf behind them to get a good look at items on the shelf in front of them sometimes. Now I'll walk all the way around to a new isle in order not to do that.
