It really was one of those photos where you looked at it and, for a minute...like a car crash or a train wreck or the Hindenburg or reruns of "Full House"...you COULD NOT take your eyes off of it, and then...as the realization set in and you knew you were looking at genuine, unretouched human genitalia, a feeling sort of like sick all over and remorse and a higher level of sickness and then shame and then a pleading with all that is holy or unholy in the universe to MAKE...IT...GO...AWAY set in.

Some nights, when the sky is black and the wind howls and the chill settles into my bones, I can close my eyes and see...IT.

I cannot do that to my fellow DUers. Well, I could do it to the half-dozen or so I have on "ignore" without blinking an eye...I just couldn't do it to THE REST OF YOU.
