My Baby's Gone.

She's just left for Tennessee. She gets home as often as she can to take care of her elderly folks for a few days. She's a good daughter. I tell her this and she says, "I try." To which I say, "this trip is proof."

She'll be gone on VD (obviously) and she'll return on my birthday.

miss her now it is an indicator of what kind of fidelity she'll have to you if you are in such a situation. That she cares for those she loves is an unambiguously good thing.

6. Well, she made her usual halfway stop in Christiansburg.

Now she's back on the road, about four hours from Clinton. She is really dreading this visit. She has a very hard time with the cigarette smoke. Her mom only smokes out on the enclosed porch -- but she leaves open the door leading into the house! Ugh.
