Awesome tattoo pic (huge!)
By Anil Gupta....H. R. Giger
On the front page of his site.

Found it when I was poking around my photobucket....I'm bored.:P
I don't understand how people can subject themselves to the pain... :scared:

1. That's really impressive.
Though I'm not a huge fan of black and gray tattoos or H.R. Geiger's work.

3. Neither am I ; )
:hi:

But it's on my son's arm, so that's what made it cool...for me anyway.
I've seen other tattoos that are really beautiful...
He was really lucky that he could get it done by this artist... :o

4. The tattoo artist is awesome....
:hi:
I had never heard of Giger until my son told me his work was on one of my old album covers...Brain Salad Surgery.
I'm not into that kind of art either...not at all...but it's on a great album!
Gupta does amazing work....including WTC memorials...those made me teary-eyed.

peace~

6. Like ass-backwards? ; )
Glad you like it:D
It kind of reminds me of the old tattoos that the geezers have...the ones before there was color. But of course, the work is niceer...It took him a few trips to NYC...and the whole thing just creeped me out...
That was years ago, though.

:hi:

7. Yes, sometimes I turn my words bass-ackwards.
I'm hoping to use my tax return to get a couple of tats that I've wanted for a few years. Somethin' simple to start with.

One of these on each shoulder. :)

But the one I'll have to wait until I have money to waste to get done will be the one I want on my back.

I'm gonna get this one

and it'll run from about the nape of my neck to the middle of the lumbar curve.

I had a better picture of it, not sure if it got lost with my harddrive crash or not. Hmm. I'll have to look for it.

9. I want to get an Eye of Horus tattoo.
I just don't know where to put it. I was thinking about the back of my hands, but I don't know if I want to do that if I want an office job someday...

10. Actually it's only the eye of Horus if it's facing left.
If its facing right, it's the Eye of Ra. :P So I'd have one of each, since they'd be facing forward on my shoulders.

13. Nice....
Thanks for the photo...You'll have to post your arm when you get it!:D
I've heard that it's not all that painful, but my daughter suffered quite a bit when she got her ankles done...
I guess it's the areas with not much flesh that are more sensitive?
Happy inking!

:hi:

peace~
