Provided he/me stayed around in ghost form all this time.
In THAT dream, had while I was 18 and in college, I died and became a walking ghost. When using a great amount of willpower, I was able to make myself known to living people. In that way, I learned from a classmate (let's call him G) I had scored with a girl in a barbecue held at a soccer field (which was to happen in real life, AFTER the dream) and a crazy ex-boyfriend of hers had burst into the soccer field driving a Mustang, and ran me over. He showed me all this in comic book form.
Later, I was walking the streets with two classmates of mine, whom was G. (The other one? I'm at his house as I type this.) G was overjoyed with seeing a manifestation from the afterworld, to the point that I told him, "Get a hold of yourself, people are looking. Remember, you are talking to the air."
I went to see some people. First was the aforementioned girl, who wanted to stay with me, and I had to convince her that would not be viable.
Then I walked the 50 miles to where my folks were. I didn't find my father in the house, but Mom was knitting in the middle of an empty room. I didn't need to use willpower to become visible, she saw me right away and said she knew I was coming, and she knew I was all right. That was a bit creepy.
Then I walked back to the city where I was, thinking to myself, "Hey, if I can interact with this world, maybe I can finish college! I'll go talk to the dean and see if I can stay as a ghost student."
And then I woke up.
