Yesterday
was my birthday... My friend brought me a cake today - a little late but is so nice of her to care. According to a thread here, the song that was #1 on the day I was born was "Singin' The Blues" by Guy Mitchell. I was too young to remember but it sounds appropriate.

5. Happy Birthday!
I remember "Singin' the Blues". It was the first 45 I ever bought to play on my new "grownup" record player so it was the unofficial anthem of my Soon-I'll-Be-A-Teenager year.
