My cat has an upset stomach and had an accident on the floor...
He didn't make it to the litter box in time and parked himself on a rug and took care of business. It was runny and nasty.

I went to get something to clean it and when I got back the dog was finishing licking it up.

Excuse me, I have to go vomit now.

:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

7. I chased her off before she finished her "work"...
So there was a little left to clean. If it had been any other accident I would have held my nose and went on my way.

It was all I could do to keep from throwing up in my mouth. It was torture.

This has to be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen.

I was getting ready to make dinner. Not now. Every time I think about it...

11. I have a baby gate up in front of the litter box because it seems to be taken as a buffet...
Edited on Tue Jan-27-09 01:34 AM by JeffreyWilliamson
I've always gotten frustrated with it or just laughed it off in the past.

This was something much different. It was somehow insidious and evil in new and abhorrent ways.

It was an abomination of all that is holy...

37. So does my roommate's mamma Dachshund
Her name is Honey and she's pregnant with her second litter. When she was pregnant with her first litter (she kept one of the puppies and named her Cleopatra), she ate shit out of my cats' litter box--and I caught her eating cat shit of of the litter box again!
They say pregnant dogs eat cat shit so the puppies would regard the cats as friends. I find that true because Cleo and Max play all the time.

Honey--eater of cat poo
Can't find a pic of Cleo

13. You could replace it with this one:
The partner just decided to call it a night. I walked into the other room to get something and he was trying to settle the dog down. She had gotten on the bed and was ruffing up the covers.

I just checked in on them. Sleeping there together. Arms wrapped around her.

No doubt there will be dog kisses in the morning...

16. blerg... kitty yacked on the corner of my bed a few nights ago...
maybe 2 am. i awoke and cleaned it up. changed the sheets.

she obviously could still smell it. and for the rest of the night she felt compelled to "cover it up" as if the new sheets were her litter box...

"scratch, scratch, scratch..."

that's ok kitty. it's taken care of...

"scratch, scratch, scratch..."

no, really. its ok kitty. mistakes happen. its all good.

"scratch, scratch, scratch..."

kitty! i have to go to work in a few hours. i need my sleep. please, kitty. stop!

"scratch, scratch, scratch..."

blerg...

My cat tried to scratch at the carpet when he finished. It's funny because I thought as I walked out of the room, "That's really not going to work, Kitteh, it's not litter".

Then when I got back the horror of what had transpired in my absence set it...

<Cue the Ughs>

My friend Joey and I used to order Domino's Pizza occasionally. One time we ordered for delivery and when it arrived we opened up our cheese bread appetizer and started a movie. When we got to the main course, there were short curly hairs in our pizza. We were sure it couldn't have been THAT kind of hair but it pretty much made us both throw up right there on the spot.

This wasn't just one hair, or two or three. It was like someone shaved off a whole tuft of the stuff and laid it into the cheese. I still want to puke thinking about that one.

Anyway, we called the store and talked to the manager. He refused to refund our money and was only willing to send over a new pizza. We told him we didn't think that was a good idea and let it rest. One more reason not to order Domino's, (in addition to their anti-gay founder).

Don't get me started on Wendy's either...

Friends share, right?

It's these little life experiences that we learn from. I know I learned a lot from it, like how to choke it back down.

I'm of the opinion that it would be so much "easier to digest" if the whole debacle could be set to rhyme.

Perhaps, "The cat went a crapping and the dog came a lapping it up"?

Or maybe, "The cat had the runs and the dog had some funs"?

What about, "The cat had the squirts and the dog got desserts"?

36. What did your cat eat to make him sick?
Did you feed him some tainted food, unknown to you? Might your cat have been sensitive to the food he ate? Or does he have a stomach bug? If the last question is true, get your cat to a vet ASAP.

39. Cats never do these things by accident
It's more likely part of a larger scheme to reveal and discredit the dog as completely uncouth for devouring cat vomit. Or perhaps you just pissed it off earlier in the day. It's hard to read cats sometimes.
